Ward off Hunger by ending the struggle for hunger by serving mid-day meals to needy and poor children in India by establishing Cosmic centres at multiple locations throughout the country . It also includes serving ready-to-eat mid-day meals with good nutritional value directly at the door step, to particular children regularly everyday at a particular time without any breaks.
Our mission “ISHWAR DHARMA SADAVRAT” is named after the renowned spiritual guru and philanthrophist Swami Ishwardasji Maharaj and Mataji Dharmi Devi, the parents of Guruji Shri Vijendraji, the founder of the Society.
Swamiji has always emphasized the need to serve the mankind by one way or the other, out of which the most important aspect was to Ward off Hunger by ending the struggle for hunger through distribution of ready-to-eat meals to the needy ones.
Swamiji always uttered the holy words of Sant Kabir “Kar sahib ki bandagi aur bhuke ko ann de’’ to his disciples in his discourses. The society is committed to follow the cosmic message given by the Swamiji to serve the mankind by serving mid-day meals to needy and poor children.
Swamiji dedicated his life and has been serving the poor since 1960. To continue this legacy and take the mission forward, Guruji Shri Vijendraji started Ishwar Dharma Sadavrat. After the humble beginnings made by Guruji, he realized in due course of the journey that there is a compelling need for more people to reach out further to Ward off Hunger from our country. Hence, the inception of social welfare society, in the name and style of Cosmic Divine Society.
The Society is providing ready-to-eat-meals to the poor and needy children by reaching them directly at their door steps by channelizing the distribution through our Mobile Food Vans. We identify particular groups of children and provide them nutritious and quality meals everyday since inception. This has indeed improved their health, ensured proper growth and has helped them to improve upon their academics.
Since its inception, the Society has been actively engaged in social welfare of the mankind irrespective of caste and creed and has served 5 lakh malnourished children through the Cosmic Centre in Mumbai.
The Society is ambitious to grow its network and accomplish the mission of serving 500 lakh children by 2020. Currently, the Society has tied up with certain welfare organizations providing free tuitions to the slum children and the Society serves ready to eat mid-day meals everyday at fixed time to these children at their tuition schools at multiple locations.
The Society is committed to channelize its all-out efforts to Ward off the Hunger and to follow the cosmic message given by Swamiji “Kar sahib ki bandagi aur bhuke ko ann de”.
